Impactful Capital: Chime Solutions Receives Investment from BBH Capital Partners

A strong mission matters. When it comes to finding the ideal investor for an impact-driven company, it’s all about the story.

01.

THE COMPANY

Chime Solutions is a provider of customer contact services and one of the largest and fastest growing, minority-owned businesses in the U.S. Chime has grown to over 2,500 employees since its founding in 2016 by partnering with Fortune 1000 corporations and providing high-value, outsourced customer contact solutions.

02.

THE GOAL

CEO and founder Mark Wilson is a dynamic leader, successful founder, and advocate for building businesses that help people. With a goal of creating 10,000 jobs, he set up Chime’s contact centers in underserved communities across the U.S., creating  significant positive social impact and career opportunities. When his high-growth business needed capital to keep growing, Mark sought a minority partner to help him make an impact on more people. He hired PEAK to help run that process, and to position his vision—and Chime’s achievements so far—in a way that appealed to the right investors.

03.

OUR APPROACH

PEAK leveraged Chime’s rapid growth and social impact to create a compelling story that attracted investors. More growth meant more jobs, which meant more impact on local communities. Mark himself had an incredible public presence and strong reputation, so we leveraged his story, the Chime team, and their vision for impact in our pitch to investors. After casting a wide net, BBH Capital Partners rose to the top as the ideal partner for Chime. They understood the company’s potential and were excited to partner with Mark and his team and to inject capital that helped drive direct impact on communities in need around the U.S.

04.

THE OUTCOME

We closed a $30 million minority recapitalization with BBH Capital Partners. Today, Chime Solutions continues to grow, recently adding 450 new jobs in Dallas and has plans to open multiple new contact centers in underserved communities.
